About The Garrison Chapel
At the heart of London’s Chelsea Barracks development, nestled just behind the creatively vibrant Pimlico Road, sits The Garrison Chapel; the last remaining building of the original 19th-century complex.
Our exhibitions at The Garrison Chapel have a particular emphasis on traditional arts and heritage craft skills, in addition to a number of special exhibitions and events.
Our events, classes and functions are widely accessible for all to encourage connectivity in the community – ensuring the Chapel continues to play a pivotal role in the neighbourhood and beyond.

The King's Foundation Diploma Year
The King’s Foundation Diploma Year exhibition is an annual show, celebrating the diverse work of our Diploma Year students. The bespoke art foundation course interplays traditional skills with innovation, encouraging students to explore their creativity. The programme’s broad curriculum enables the students to experiment with a range of visual arts techniques, providing a platform for progression to various industries including fine art, animation, illustration, architecture, and set design. The result is a varied and dynamic graduating exhibition, displaying work from a spectrum of mediums.
The King's Foundation School of Traditional Arts Degree Show
Graduating students from The King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts Master’s Programme will display work representing the world’s traditional arts. Students from the UK, Italy, Germany, China and Egypt will present work in a range of media including intricate Celtic work, ancient Chinese astronomical devices, carved architectural portals from the Islamic world, and devotional paintings from Tibetan and Christian traditions, along with many other mediums, histories, and faiths.Learn more about The Garrison Chapel
