Alumna Dr Lisa DeLong Exhibits at City Hall

Paintings by <a href="http://wholegrainart.com/" target=_blank">Dr Lisa DeLong will be on display until the end of August at City Hall.

Some may be surprised to discover that the general public are able to visit City Hall on Mondays to Thursdays from 8.30am to 6pm and on Fridays from 8.30am to 5.30pm. This unusually shaped building holds the office of London Mayor, Boris Johnson, and provides an interesting setting for works of art.

Dr DeLong studied on the School's globally-recognised postgraduate programme before becoming a key member of staff. In her capacity as Outreach Programme Manager, she manages a number of projects at home and abroad, including the pioneering Schools Programme. Dr DeLong's paintings are composed using what is loosely termed “sacred geometry,” an ancient and complex discipline which has been used throughout history to design civilization’s most sacred buildings.

This exhibition transpired through collaboration with the Greater London Authority and with the British Council which is also displaying works at City Hall by artists and photographers from Saudi Arabia.
