Book Launch at School on 11th November

The Prince's School of Traditional Arts is proud to announce an event to celebrate the publication of three books that have been written alumni of The School.

The launch event will take place from 6pm to 9pm in The School's gallery on Monday 11th November.

Lisa DeLong, PhD alumna and one of the School's Outreach Project Managers, has written Curves: Flowers, Foliates & Flourishes in the Formal Decorative Arts, a beautiful and insightful investigation of biomorphic ornament.

Haifa Khawaja, 2002 alumna of the School's M.A. programme, has written Islamic Patterns, a colouring book following the underlying patterns of Islamic art..

Adam Tetlow, 2003 alumnus of the School's M.A., has written Celtic Patterns: Visual Rhythms of the Ancient Mind, a groundbreaking analysis of an ancient artform.

All three books have been published by Wooden Books which was started by another of the School's alumnus John Martineau.
