Prince of Wales visit to Degree Show

HRH The Prince of Wales attended a private view of his School’s annual degree show on 10 July 2013.

The Prince of Wales toured the Charlotte Road exhibition, meeting this year’s MA and PhD graduates. Students were delighted to have this unique opportunity to show and discuss their work with HRH.

Speaking from the event, HRH said he was “enormously proud” of his School. He expressed “joy” to see the results of his students’ hard work, and described the fact that so many of his School’s staff and teachers are recruited through its pool of graduating students as “marvellous”.

HRH presented the Ciclitira Prize to Renuka Gurung for her PhD work on the practice and meaning of Nepalese Paubha painting; and the Barakat Trust award to MA graduate Joachim Tantau for his fountain house.
