Support education
The Prince’s Foundation offers a broad range of innovative and inspiring education programmes, from traditional arts and heritage craft skills, to architecture and design, science, engineering, horticulture, wellbeing and hospitality. Programmes take place within and beyond the charity’s sites, both nationally and internationally.
Built Environment
Help us deliver four Masters degrees in sustainable development and train hundreds of people in heritage craft skills to preserve our historic built environment.
Textiles Education
Each year we work with thousands of school pupils, both at Dumfries House and Trinity Buoy Wharf, plus adult trainees on our employability programmes and community sewing bee.
Food and Horticulture
With your support, we help 3,000 young people a year learn where their food comes from and develop healthy eating habits.
Farming and Rural Skills
We provide over 2,500 school pupils per year with hands-on, engaging farm-to-fork experiences.
Nature-Based Learning
Help us continue to offer affordable, residential accommodation for youth and school groups at the Dumfries House Estate.
STEM Education
With your support, we can develop our engineering education centre and innovative outdoor engineering classroom to encourage more young people into STEM careers.
Catering and Hospitality
Help us change the lives of disadvantaged young people by providing training and job opportunities in the hospitality industry, working in partnership with The Prince’s Trust.
Arts and Music
Support our partnership with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to deliver dance and music education to young people.
Traditional Arts
Help The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts deliver world-class education through postgraduate education, short courses, workshops and schools outreach.
